Met XL AM 25/5 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure/hypertension and angina pectoris. High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels. Angina is basically a pain in the heart and chest.

Met XL AM 25/5 Tablet contains Metoprolol succinate and Amlodipine. Metoprolol works by slowing down the heart rate, thereby making it more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Amlodipine relaxes the blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow.
