Megaspray Spray belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids used to treat seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms. Seasonal allergic rhinitis, commonly called hay fever, mostly occurs in the summer, spring or early fall. Perennial allergic rhinitis affects throughout the year and can be triggered by mould, cockroach or dust mite droppings, pet dander and saliva. 

Megaspray Spray contains Mometasone that gets absorbed into the cells of the nasal lining and works by inhibiting these cells from releasing chemicals that trigger inflammatory and allergic reactions. Thereby, it helps to relieve sneezing, runny or blocked nose and sinus discomfort.

Use Megaspray Spray as prescribed. Use Megaspray Spray for your child for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your child’s medical condition. Megaspray Spray may cause some common side effects such as headache, nose bleeds, sore throat or nose, sneezing, or ulcers in the nose. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if your child is allergic to Mometasone or other medicines. Avoid using Megaspray Spray if your child has recently had nose surgery or has a nose injury. Avoid child contact with anyone having infections such as measles or chickenpox. If your child has an infection or persistent irritation in the nose or throat while using Megaspray Spray, talk to your doctor.
