Lupituss CPM Suspension is used to relieve cough and allergy-related symptoms. The detailed uses of Lupituss CPM Suspension are as follows:

• Dry cough: Lupituss CPM Suspension helps suppress persistent non-productive cough.
• Upper respiratory tract infections: Lupituss CPM Suspension reduces coughing and irritation caused by infection of the throat and airways.
• Relief from allergic rhinitis: Lupituss CPM Suspension reduces symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and nasal congestion due to allergens.
• Reduction of throat irritation with sneezing: Lupituss CPM Suspension soothes throat discomfort associated with allergic reactions.
• Seasonal allergies: Lupituss CPM Suspension treats cough and allergy symptoms triggered by seasonal changes.

Lupituss CPM Suspension contains Levocloperastine hydrochloride and Chlorpheniramine maleate used to treat dry cough. Levocloperastine hydrochloride is a cough suppressant that blocks the transmission of nerve signals from the cough centre in the brain to the muscles that produce cough. Thus, decreasing the need to cough. Chlorpheniramine maleate is an antihistamine (anti-allergic drug) that blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. It helps to provide relief from symptoms of allergy such as sneezing, running nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, and congestion or stiffness. 

• Lupituss CPM Suspension should be taken with or without food.
• It is recommended to take Lupituss CPM Suspension as advised by your doctor.
• Measure the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided with the pack and administer it orally.
• Check the label for directions before using it. Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Avoid dairy products such as milk as it may increase mucus production. Also, avoid processed or refined foods. Instead, replace baked foods, fried foods, white bread, white pasta, French fries, sugary desserts and chips with green leafy vegetables.
• Drink plenty of fluids to avoid dry throat while coughing. It also helps loosen mucus. 
• Avoid citrus fruits as they may worsen the cough. Eat fruits rich in water content, such as pears, watermelon, peaches and pineapples.

If you have glaucoma, urinary problems, enlarged prostate, phenylketonuria (a birth defect that causes accumulation of phenylalanine in the body), cough with mucus or cough caused by asthma, smoking, chronic bronchitis or emphysema (a lung condition causing shortness of breath), inform your doctor before taking Lupituss CPM Suspension .
