Lomoother 40 Capsule is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of brain tumors. A tumor is defined as the formation of solid mass tissue due to the abnormal growth of cells. Lomoother 40 Capsule is used in the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors along with appropriate surgical or radiotherapeutic procedures. A brain tumor is a serious condition where the cells (cancerous or non-cancerous) grow abnormally in the brain. Lomoother 40 Capsule is also used in the treatment of Hodgkin’s Disease when used in combination with other chemotherapies.

Lomoother 40 Capsule contains Lomustine, which belongs to the alkylating agents class. It works by inhibiting the DNA and RNA transcription that is essential for protein synthesis. This causes shrinkage of tumor cells and thereby prevents the growth and further spread of cancerous or non-cancerous cells.

Lomoother 40 Capsule may cause certain side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, headache, visual disturbances, blindness, disorientation, lack of energy, loss of control, and difficulty talking. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. The detailed uses of Lomoother 40 Capsule are as follows:<br/>• Brain Tumors: Lomoother 40 Capsule is used to treat brain tumors including gliomas and astrocytomas, especially when other treatments like surgery or radiation have already been used.<br/>• Hodgkin’s Lymphoma: Lomoother 40 Capsule is used to treat hodgkin’s lymphoma typically in patients who have relapsed or are resistant to other therapies.<br/>• Other Cancers: Lomoother 40 Capsule is used to treat cancers such as lung cancer, malignant melanoma, multiple myeloma, ovarian cancer, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Lomoother 40 Capsule can be taken 1 hour before a meal or 2 hours after a meal, or as advised by your doctor.• It is taken as a single dose every 6 weeks; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.• Do not break, chew or crush Lomoother 40 Capsule.
