Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat stomach and intestinal ulcers, inflammation of the food pipe (oesophagus), gastro-oesophageal reflux disease - GERD (reflux of gastric contents into the oesophagus), heartburn, regurgitation, ulcers caused by the usage of pain killers, infections caused by Helicobacter pylori when given along with an antibiotic, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat stomach and intestinal ulcers, inflammation of food pipe (oesophagus), gastro-oesophagal reflux disease - GERD (reflux of gastric contents into the oesophagus), heartburn, regurgitation, ulcers caused by the usage of pain killers, infections caused by Helicobacter pylori when given along with an antibiotic, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's contains 'Lansoprazole' that works by blocking the action of an enzyme known as the gastric proton pump responsible for the production of acid. This helps in reducing the amount of acid produced, heals the ulcers and prevents the formation of new ulcers.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence (wind), stomach pain, tiredness, and dry or sore mouth or throat. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, or if you are due to have Chromogranin A blood test. Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Take Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's 30 minutes before food, or as advised by your doctor.
It is typically taken once daily or as advised by your doctor.
Place the tablet on the tongue and allow it to disintegrate with or without water. Also, you can place the tablet in a teaspoonful of water till it gets disintegrated and then administer the content.

What if I have taken an overdose of Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's as it may cause overdose. If you suspect you have taken overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents, or if you are taking atazanavir (used to treat HIV), anticancer medications (methotrexate) and blood thinner (warfarin).
Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, or if you are due to have Chromogranin A blood test.
Lolyz-DT 15 mg Tablet 10's may cause low magnesium levels, vitamin B12 levels, and increase the risk of bone fractures if taken for a longer duration; the doctor may advise regular tests for monitoring your condition.
