About L-Ventex Syrup

L-Ventex Syrup is used to treat symptoms of bronchospasm, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath in children. Bronchospasm is the tightening of the muscles lining the bronchi (airways) in the lungs. This narrows the airways and prevents air from entering or leaving the lungs.

L-Ventex Syrup belongs to the class of medicines called bronchodilators. It contains Levosalbutamol, which works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs.

Use L-Ventex Syrup as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often your child needs to take L-Ventex Syrup based on his/her medical condition. In some cases, L-Ventex Syrup may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, diarrhoea, headache, or sleeplessness. Most of these side effects of L-Ventex Syrup do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult a doctor.

Do not use L-Ventex Syrup if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients in L-Ventex Syrup . If your child is suffering from any medical condition or is under any specific medication, please inform your doctor before using this medicine.

Uses of L-Ventex Syrup

L-Ventex Syrup is used to treat symptoms of bronchospasm, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in children, such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. The detailed uses of L-Ventex Syrup are as follows:

  • Relieve symptoms of bronchospasm: L-Ventex Syrup helps ease breathing difficulties such as wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath by relaxing the muscles in the airways and improving airflow to the lungs.
  • Manage asthma and chronic bronchitis: L-Ventex Syrup is used for children with asthma or other respiratory conditions to prevent and control episodes of airway constriction, allowing for better respiratory function.
  • Provide quick relief during acute respiratory distress: L-Ventex Syrup acts rapidly to open narrowed airways, making it especially useful during sudden asthma attacks or flare-ups of obstructive lung disease.
