Keticon-CT Lotion is primarily used in the treatment of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis. The detailed uses of Keticon-CT Lotion are as follows:

• Treats Dandruff: Keticon-CT Lotion effectively reduces flaking, itching, and scalp irritation caused by dandruff.
• Manages Seborrheic Dermatitis: Keticon-CT Lotion kills the fungus Malassezia and helps control symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis, such as flaking, redness, and itching on the scalp.
• Manages Scalp Psoriasis: Keticon-CT Lotion helps reduce scaling and thickening of the skin associated with psoriasis by removing dead skin cells and slowing down the growth of new skin cells.

• Keticon-CT Lotion is primarily used to treat dandruff and dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp).
• Keticon-CT Lotion is composed of two medicines: ketoconazole (antifungal) and coal tar (keratoplastic).
• Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that works by stopping the growth of dandruff-causing fungi, preventing them from forming their own protective covering. 
• Coal tar belongs to a class of drugs known as keratoplastic (thickens the keratin layers). 
• It removes dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slows down the growth of skin cells.
• This effect decreases scaling and dryness, thus relieving itching and cracking related to dandruff. 

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure the safety.
• Wet hair with a sufficient quantity of water.
• Apply sufficient amount of Keticon-CT Lotion on the scalp depending on the length of the hair. Massage to lather and leave it on the scalp and hair for a few minutes. Then, thoroughly rinse with water.
• It is only for external use.

• Do not scratch the affected area of skin as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, with others.
• Wash your bed sheets and towels regularly.
• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.
• Leave the shampoo on for three to five minutes before rinsing.
• Do not scratch or pick your skin to avoid getting the affected area infected.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and sleep peacefully. 

• Keticon-CT Lotion may cause liver failure, so your doctor will monitor your liver function while taking Keticon-CT Lotion .
• Let your doctor know if you have any allergic reactions to Keticon-CT Lotion or other medications.  
• Avoid contact of topical Keticon-CT Lotion with nose, mouth, or eyes as it may irritate. In case Keticon-CT Lotion comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
• Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Keticon-CT Lotion catches fire and burns quickly.
• The use of Keticon-CT Lotion is contraindicated in people with asthma, an autoimmune disorder, or heart problems (with a prolonged QT wave of heartbeat). Inform your doctor before taking Keticon-CT Lotion .
• Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult a doctor before starting Keticon-CT Lotion .
