Itorihenz-150 Capsule is used in the treatment of disorders associated with reduced gastrointestinal motility. Besides this, Itorihenz-150 Capsule also treats gastrointestinal disorders like dyspepsia (indigestion), bloating (feeling of stomach tightness due to gas), upper abdominal pain, anorexia (eating disorder), heartburn, nausea and vomiting.

Itorihenz-150 Capsule contains 'Itopride,' which works by increasing the level of acetylcholine concentration, which in turn increases the gastrointestinal peristalsis movement, thereby accelerating gastric emptying time and easing the movement of food through the entire gastrointestinal tract.

In some cases, you may experience diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, dry mouth or drowsiness. Most of these side effects of Itorihenz-150 Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Itorihenz-150 Capsule or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Itorihenz-150 Capsule is not recommended for children below 16 years of age. • Treatment of Functional Dyspepsia: Itorihenz-150 Capsule is frequently used to alleviate functional dyspepsia symptoms such as pain, bloating, and nausea.
• Management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: Itorihenz-150 Capsule aids in the treatment of GERD, such as heartburn and acid ingestion, by increasing stomach motility and decreasing the frequency of reflux events.
• Relief from Nausea and Vomiting: Itorihenz-150 Capsule significantly reduces nausea and vomiting caused by gastroenteritis and chemotherapy, thereby regulating digestive function.
• Postoperative Gastric Motility Disorders: Itorihenz-150 Capsule can also be used to treat patients who have delayed gastric emptying following surgery.
• Gastroparesis Management: Itorihenz-150 Capsule can be prescribed to treat gastroparesis by improving gastric motility in patients with weak stomach muscles.

• Take Itorihenz-150 Capsule on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before food or as advised by the doctor.

• Swallow Itorihenz-150 Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

• Avoid taking Itorihenz-150 Capsule if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it.
• Patients with reduced kidney or liver functions should be monitored carefully, and the dose should be adjusted accordingly.
• Itorihenz-150 Capsule may be excreted in breast milk. Therefore, breastfeeding or pregnant women are advised to consult a doctor before taking Itorihenz-150 Capsule .
• If you notice dark, coffee coloured stools or blood in stools, contact your doctor immediately, as these might be signs of bleeding in the stomach.
