Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's is primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia/rickets (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels). Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's consists of three medicines: Calcium citrate (mineral), Calcitriol (Vitamin D3), and Vitamin K2-7 (Menaquinone). Calcium citrate is a mineral that prevents or treats a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. Calcitriol is a synthetic version of Vitamin D3 that treats calcium deficiency and metabolic bone diseases in people with chronic kidney failure. It raises the Vitamin D levels and thereby increases calcium levels in the blood. This helps in improving the absorption rate of calcium from the intestine. What if I have taken an overdose of Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's

Never take more than the suggested dose. An overdose of Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's can cause anorexia, nausea, vomiting, polyuria, polydipsia, weakness, enlarged liver, paleness, increased sweating, shortness of breath, muscle stiffness, oedema, irregular breathing, decreased movement or activity, swollen eyelids, or red skin. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's or come across these symptoms, seek immediate medical help.

Drug Warnings

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to Iffcal-K2 Softgel Capsule 10's or its inactive components. Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese or milk-based custard in your diet.
  • Eat daily a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, spinach and other green leafy vegetables.
