Hiclo Gel 30 gm contains diclofenac, methyl salicylate, linseed oil, and menthol. Hiclo Gel 30 gm works by first cooling the skin and then warming it up, which interferes with the pain signal transmission through nerves.
Some common side effects of Hiclo Gel 30 gm are burning, itching, redness, stinging, and dryness on your skin in the place where Hiclo Gel 30 gm is applied. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not apply external heat or cover the treated skin with dressings after applying Hiclo Gel 30 gm. Avoid wearing clothes or gloves for at least 10 minutes after applying Hiclo Gel 30 gm.
Avoid concomitant use of Hiclo Gel 30 gm with other topical products such as cosmetics, sunscreens, lotions, moisturisers, insect repellent creams and other gels.
Hiclo Gel 30 gm should not be used on broken or open wounds, infections, or severely peeling skin.
Hiclo Gel 30 gm is for external use only. Shake well before each use. Spray the contents from a 5cm distance on the affected area. Avoid contact with eyes and nose; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Wash your hands before and after use, unless treating your hands.
