Gatosart 80 Tablet belongs to the group of anti-hypertensive medicines called angiotensin receptor II antagonist, used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Additionally, Gatosart 80 Tablet is used to treat heart failure and prevent heart attacks.

Gatosart 80 Tablet contains ‘valsartan’, which works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood to all body parts. Thereby, Gatosart 80 Tablet helps in lowering blood pressure to normal levels.

Avoid taking NSAIDs with Gatosart 80 Tablet unless prescribed by the doctor, as it could lead to an increased risk of kidney impairment and loss of anti-hypertensive effect.
