Fungnil-V Tablet VT is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.

Fungnil-V Tablet VT comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Fungnil-V Tablet VT eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Fungnil-V Tablet VT as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Fungnil-V Tablet VT may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Fungnil-V Tablet VT eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.

Do not use Fungnil-V Tablet VT if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Fungnil-V Tablet VT is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Fungnil-V Tablet VT without a doctor's advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with Fungnil-V Tablet VT. Avoid using Fungnil-V Tablet VT during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses are over.

• Check the label for directions before use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after inserting Fungnil-V Tablet VT.
• Pull out plunger A until it stops. Place one vaginal tablet into the applicator B. Insert applicator carefully into the vagina, as deep as possible. Push plunger A until it stops. Remove the applicator from the vagina.
• Wash the applicator after each use in warm soapy water and dry completely.
• For vaginal insertion only. Not for oral use.
• During pregnancy, the vaginal tablet should be inserted without using an applicator.
