Foligraf 225 IU/0.5 ml Injection 1's belongs to a group of medicines called Gonadotropins. It is used to treat infertility in women (oligo-anovulatory infertile patients in whom the cause of infertility is functional and not due to primary ovarian failure) and to stimulate sperm production in men.

Foligraf 225 IU/0.5 ml Injection 1's contains a follicle-stimulating hormone, which acts by developing and ripening several follicles and inducing the ovulation procedure. In infertile men, Foligraf 225 IU/0.5 ml Injection 1's is used along with other medicines to help produce sperm.

Foligraf 225 IU/0.5 ml Injection 1's may cause certain side effects, such as headache, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, abdominal pain, fever, sore throat, sneezing, and pain at the injection site. It also helps to induce the ovulation procedure (releasing an egg from the ovary). In males, it helps replenish the deficient testosterone (anabolic steroid and primary sex hormone in males) levels and helps produce sperm cells.
