About Fludara 10 mg Tablet

Fludara 10 mg Tablet belongs to a group of anticancer medications called 'Antimetabolites', mainly used to treat chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) in patients who have not responded to other standard treatments. Leukaemia, also known as blood cancer, is a type of cancer that affects the blood cells or blood-forming tissues. It causes the bone marrow to produce excessive numbers of immature white blood cells, which reduces the body's ability to fight infections.

Fludara 10 mg Tablet contains Fludarabine, which works by blocking certain key enzymes (ribonucleotide reductase and DNA polymerase) that are necessary for DNA synthesis in cancer cells. This action slows down or stops the growth of cancer cells in the body.
