Drug Warnings

Do not use Flonida 1% Cream if you are allergic to any of its components, if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or if you are breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have reduced or no activity of the DPD (dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase) enzyme or if you are using medicines to treat chickenpox or shingles (brivudine, sorivudine) or have used them in the last four weeks. Do not use the cream on open cuts as it can lead to too much absorption of cream into the bloodstream, leading to harmful effects. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (clothing, bedding, or dressing) that has been in contact with Flonida 1% Cream burns easily and is a serious fire hazard. Washing the fabric may not totally remove it, but it might reduce product build-up.
