Fexona Tablet is used to treat allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose or watery eyes. How Fexona Tablet Works

Fexona Tablet is a combination of two drugs, namely Montelukast (leukotriene receptor antagonist) and Fexofenadine (antihistamine). Montelukast works by blocking the action of chemicals called leukotrienes that are released from the lungs, causing inflammation (swelling) and increased mucus production in the airways. Thereby, reduces inflammation, mucus production and narrowing in the airways. Fexofenadine works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions.

What if I have taken an overdose of Fexona Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Fexona Tablet as it may cause an overdose. Symptoms of overdose include vomiting, thirst, headache, stomach pain, tiredness, dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness and tiredness. However, if you suspect you have taken an overdose or experience any of these symptoms, please consult a doctor immediately.

  • If you have Lapp lactase deficiency, galactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, fits, kidney, liver, or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking Fexona Tablet .
  • Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements or herbal products.
