About Fenixa Syrup

Fenixa Syrup is primarily used to treat various kinds of allergies. An allergy is an immune system response to foreign elements typically not harmful to your or your child’s body. Allergic condition varies from person to person.

Fenixa Syrup contains fexofenadine, which blocks the effects of a chemical messenger known as histamine, which is naturally involved in allergic reactions.

In some cases, Fenixa Syrup may cause headaches, nausea, or dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if you notice any of these side effects persist or bother your child, inform your doctor immediately.

You can give Fenixa Syrup with food or without food. Your doctor will advise you on how often you can give Fenixa Syrup to your child based on your medical condition.

Inform your doctor about your child's entire medical history. Other drugs or supplements should not be combined with Fenixa Syrup unless a doctor advises. Do not use this medicine unless prescribed by the doctor.

FAQs

Fenixa Syrup is used to treat allergic conditions such as hay fever (an allergy caused by pollen or dust), conjunctivitis (red, itchy eye), eczema (dermatitis), hives (red, raised patches or dots), reactions to insect bites and stings and some food allergies.

Fenixa Syrup contains fexofenadine (anti-histamine), which is used to treat allergies as it blocks the effects of a chemical messenger known as ‘histamine,’ which is naturally involved in allergic reactions.

Hay fever is an allergy caused due to outdoor or indoor allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, or tiny flecks of skin and saliva shed by cats, dogs, and other animals with fur or feathers (pet dander). It leads to cold-like symptoms (running nose, watery eyes).

Fenixa Syrup is known as a non-drowsy antihistamine. It's less likely to make your child sleepy than some other antihistamines; however, in some people, it may cause sleepiness and induce drowsiness during the day. Hence, you are recommended to give it in the nighttime in case you are noticing excessive drowsiness in the child during the day.

Depending upon the severity of allergic conditions due to allergens, Fenixa Syrup can be safely given daily until your child gets complete relief and as long as your doctor has advised to use it.

While using Fenixa Syrup , avoid feeding grapefruit, orange, or apple juice. It may increase the risk of side effects.
