About Estravian Tablet

Estravian Tablet is an oral prescription medication primarily used to relieve moderate to severe menopause symptoms, such as hot flashes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. It is also used to help prevent osteoporosis (bone thinning) in postmenopausal individuals and to replace estrogen in people whose bodies do not produce enough of this hormone.

To get the best results, take Estravian Tablet at the same time every day, with or without food. If it upsets your stomach, taking it with food may help. Eating foods rich in calcium and vitamin D and doing regular weight-bearing exercise can further support your bone health.

While taking Estravian Tablet , you may experience mild side effects such as headache, breast tenderness, or nausea. However, long-term estrogen therapy may increase the risk of breast cancer and, in people who have a uterus and are not taking a progestin, endometrial (uterine) cancer. Your doctor will carefully assess your individual risks and monitor you regularly during treatment.

If you develop sudden chest pain, severe headache, difficulty breathing, sudden vision changes, severe leg swelling, or weakness on one side of the body, call emergency medical services (dial 112) or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Also contact your doctor promptly if you notice unusual vaginal bleeding.

Talk to your doctor before starting this medicine if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, gallbladder disease, high cholesterol, or other medical conditions. Do not take this medicine if you have unexplained vaginal bleeding, active liver disease, a history of blood clots, certain estrogen-dependent cancers, or if you are pregnant.

Some medicines, as well as smoking, can increase the risk of serious side effects such as blood clots while taking Estravian Tablet . Avoid smoking during treatment. If you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor, as this medicine is generally not recommended.

How Estravian Tablet Works

Estravian Tablet contains an active hormone that is identical to the estrogen naturally produced by the human body. When you take the tablet, it is absorbed into your bloodstream, where it acts as a direct replacement for the falling estrogen levels associated with menopause or ovarian conditions. By binding to estrogen receptors throughout your body, it signals your tissues to behave as they did when your hormone levels were naturally higher. This process regulates your body’s internal thermostat in the brain to stop hot flashes, and it supports cells in the bones, blood vessels, and vaginal tissues to keep them functioning healthily.
