About Ebast Syrup
Ebast Syrup is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria (red, raised, itchy bumps with unknown cause) in children. It is used to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, runny, itchy, blocked-up nose and watery and red eyes. Seasonal allergic rhinitis, commonly called hay fever, mostly occurs in the summer, spring or early fall. Perennial allergic rhinitis affects you throughout the year and can be triggered by mould, cockroach or dust mite droppings, pet dander and saliva.
Ebast Syrup contains Ebastine, an antihistamine that works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance responsible for allergic reactions. Thus, it helps to provide relief from allergy symptoms.
Use Ebast Syrup as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often your child needs to take Ebast Syrup based on his/her medical condition. In some cases, Ebast Syrup may cause common side effects such as headache, drowsiness, and dry mouth. Most of these side effects of Ebast Syrup do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not use Ebast Syrup if your child is allergic to any of the ingredients in Ebast Syrup. If your child is suffering from any medical condition or is under any specific medication, please inform your doctor before using this medicine. Do not give more than the recommended dose to your child, as it may cause an overdose and increase the risk of side effects.
