About Duobloc Tablet

Duobloc Tablet is a muscle relaxant used in relieving pain. Pain can be acute (temporary) or chronic (long-lasting). Acute pain is a short-term pain caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or other organs. Chronic pain lasts for a long duration and is caused due to pathologies like nerve damage, etc. Duobloc Tablet helps provide relief from musculoskeletal pain, integumental pain (Pain occurring in the integumentary system) and lumbago pain (pain in the lower back muscles and nerves).

Duobloc Tablet contains Phenyramidol, which belongs to the class of muscle relaxants. It works by inhibiting the polysynaptic reflexes in the brain and spinal cord. Thereby inhibits the transmission of pain signals from nerves to the brain. This provides relief from muscle stiffness or muscle spasms and improves muscle strength.

Duobloc Tablet may cause certain side effects like nausea, dizziness, headache, vomiting, dry mouth, drowsiness, constipation, sweating, or tiredness. Most of these side effects of Duobloc Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects worsen or persist, please consult your doctor. Duobloc Tablet should be taken as advised by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Duobloc Tablet . Duobloc Tablet should be taken with food. Your doctor will decide the dose of the medicine depending on the type and severity of the condition.

Duobloc Tablet is used for the symptomatic treatment of musculoskeletal pain and spasms. The detailed uses of Duobloc Tablet are as follows:<br/>• Relieves muscle spasms: Duobloc Tablet helps reduce involuntary muscle contractions associated with various musculoskeletal conditions.<br/>• Alleviates pain and stiffness: It provides relief from muscle pain, stiffness, and discomfort to improve mobility and function.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Duobloc Tablet should be taken with food to prevent stomach upset, or as advised by your doctor.• It is usually to be taken 2 to 3 times daily; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.• Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. • Do not break, crush or chew Duobloc Tablet .

What if I have taken an overdose of Duobloc Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Using more medication will not improve your symptoms; instead, they may cause serious side effects or poisoning. If you suspect that you may have overdosed of Duobloc Tablet or observe any side effects, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home. No specific side effects have been reported under these circumstances.
