About Donep Syrup
Donep Syrup is used to treat the symptoms of dementia in people with mild and moderately severe Alzheimer's disease. Alzheimer’s disease is a brain condition that slowly damages memory, thinking, learning, and organising skills.
Donep Syrup contains Donepezil, which works by increasing the levels of a substance (acetylcholine) in the brain involved in memory function by slowing down the breakdown of acetylcholine.
In some cases, Donep Syrup may cause side effects such as muscle cramps, fatigue, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and insomnia. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult the doctor.
Do not take Donep Syrup if you are allergic to Donep Syrup or any of its ingredients. Inform your doctor if you have severe Alzheimer’s, other types of dementia, memory problems, or conditions like heart disease, seizures, ulcers, asthma, lung, liver, or urinary problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Donep Syrup.
