• Soothes Gastritis (Stomach Inflammation): Diovol-LA Forte SF Mint Flavour Suspension reduces inflammation and irritation of the stomach lining, providing relief from stomach pain and discomfort.
• Prevents and Treats Flatulence (Gas): Diovol-LA Forte SF Mint Flavour Suspension helps reduce gas by dispersing gas bubbles in the stomach and intestine through flatus or burping. It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the gut.

Diovol-LA Forte SF Mint Flavour Suspension belongs to a group of medicines called antacids used to treat acidity, heartburn, indigestion, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach), and stomach upset. Diovol-LA Forte SF Mint Flavour Suspension is a combination of Dried Aluminium hydroxide (antacid), magnesium hydroxide (antacid), activated dimethicone (antiflatulent), and sorbitol. Dried Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide work by neutralising excess stomach acid. Activated dimethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract. Sorbitol is a laxative with a diuretic (urine producing) and cathartic (that stimulates defecation) properties. It is a sugar alcohol found in fruits and plants and treats constipation.

• Diovol-LA Forte SF Mint Flavour Suspension is usually taken after a meal or as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Measure the recommended dose using a measuring cup and administer it orally.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly. Shake well before use.

• Eat smaller meals more often.

• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increases acidity and heartburn.
• Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercising.
