Dionac-Fast Relief Gel is used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and pain of osteoarthritis of joints. It reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint.

Dionac-Fast Relief Gel contains diclofenac, methyl salicylate, linseed oil, and menthol. Dionac-Fast Relief Gel works by first cooling the skin and then warming it up, which interferes with the pain signal transmission through nerves.

Some common side effects of Dionac-Fast Relief Gel are burning, itching, redness, stinging, and dryness on your skin in the place where Dionac-Fast Relief Gel is applied. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Dionac-Fast Relief Gel should be used for skin only, and if it accidentally gets into your eye, mouth, or nose, rinse with water. Dionac-Fast Relief Gel is contraindicated in children below two years of age. In addition, caution must be exercised when treating older children (2-12 years).

  • Dionac-Fast Relief Gel is for topical (skin surface) use only.
  • It is typically applied 3-4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water before applying Dionac-Fast Relief Gel. Apply a small amount of Dionac-Fast Relief Gel to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab and gently rub it in.
  • Avoid taking a shower for at least 1 hour after application.
  • If Dionac-Fast Relief Gel accidentally comes in contact with your eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse with water thoroughly.
  • Do not apply it to open wounds, or use external heat or occlusive dressings on the treated joints.
