About Devita Injection

Devita Injection is used to treat or prevent some complications such as low calcium levels (hypocalcemia). Hypocalcaemia is characterized by low levels of calcium in the blood. A lack or inadequacy of vitamin D can cause hypocalcemia.

Devita Injection contains calcitriol. It increases the levels of vitamin D in your blood, which in turn raises calcium levels; thus, it helps to treat patients with low levels of calcium who are on chronic renal dialysis.

In some cases, Devita Injection can cause side effects like nausea, headache, constipation, or pain/discomfort at the injection site. Most of these side effects of Devita Injection do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.
