Dermotrex 5 Tablet is used to treat active rheumatoid arthritis, including polyarticular juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, severe psoriasis, and severe psoriatic arthritis. Dermotrex 5 Tablet causes leukopenia (decreased number of white blood cells) and hence may make you more susceptible to infections. Consult your doctor if you develop any signs of infections such as fever, sore throat, breathlessness, jaundice, unexplained bleeding or bruising.

Dermotrex 5 Tablet may cause mouth sores. Stop taking Dermotrex 5 Tablet and consult your doctor if you have sores in the mouth. Your doctor may recommend folate supplements to treat mouth sores.

Before using Dermotrex 5 Tablet , you should inform your doctor about your medical history, including any ongoing medicines, to avoid potential interactions and minimize side effects.

Many people will notice an improvement in their symptoms after six to eight weeks of taking methotrexate. Still, it may take up to six months to reap the full advantages of the medication.

Dermotrex 5 Tablet is not a painkiller.
