About Densera 10mg Tablet
Densera 10mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs known as 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug' (NSAID) used to provide pain relief in various conditions, including post-traumatic pain, low back pain, cervical pain, spondylitis (inflammation in spinal bones), osteoarthritis (lifelong joint pain and stiffness), rheumatoid arthritis(joint pain and damage throughout the body). Pain can be temporary (acute) or prolonged period (chronic) in nature. Acute pain is for a short time caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or organs. Chronic pain lasts for life long, caused due to nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage to the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury.
Densera 10mg Tablet contains 'serratiopeptidase', a protein enzyme isolated from a bacterial cell found in the silkworms. It breaks the insoluble protein (fibrin), a by-product of blood clots, into smaller units. It also causes thinning of the body's fluids due to injury, making fluid drainage smoother in the swollen tissue and relieving inflammation at the affected or injured site.
Swallow Densera 10mg Tablet as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it. In some cases, Densera 10mg Tablet may cause stomach ache, diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and indigestion. Most of these side effects of Densera 10mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not take Densera 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to painkillers like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or diclofenac. It is not recommended for use in children.
