• Treats leukaemia: Cytalon 1000 mg Injection is used to manage various types of leukaemia, cancers that affect the white blood cells.
• Used for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma: Cytalon 1000 mg Injection may also be given to treat certain forms of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of lymphatic white blood cells.
• Helps stop cancer cell growth: Cytalon 1000 mg Injection works by interfering with the growth and multiplication of cancer cells in the body.

Cytalon 1000 mg Injection contains Cytarabine, which belongs to the class of antimetabolites. It works by inhibiting the DNA polymerase enzyme that is responsible for DNA elongation, synthesis, and repair. In general, it inhibits the production of genetic material (DNA) in the cancer cells that are essential for cell growth, repair and multiplication.
