Ctron Injection is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit, while vomiting is the natural response of the body to expel the stomach contents from the mouth forcefully.

Ctron Injection contains Ondansetron, which works by blocking the action of a chemical in the body (serotonin) responsible for causing nausea and vomiting.

In some cases, Ctron Injection may cause headache, constipation, a feeling of warmth or flushing, redness, and irritation at the site of injection. If the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

• Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) : Ctron Injection is used in adults and children to prevent and manage nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.
• Post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV): Ctron Injection helps prevent and treat nausea and vomiting that may occur after surgery.
• Radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting: In adults receiving radiation treatment for cancer, Ctron Injection is used to reduce or prevent nausea and vomiting associated with therapy.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safe and effective use.
• Ctron Injection will be administered by the doctor.
• Do not self-administer.

• Ctron Injection contains Ondansetron that blocks the action of serotonin, a chemical that stimulates the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) located in the brain.
