About Coldnac-Am Syrup

Coldnac-Am Syrup belongs to a class of expectorants primarily used to treat cough. Additionally, it is also used to treat allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, throat irritation, or watery eyes. Coughing (dry or productive) is a body’s way of clearing irritants (like allergens, mucus, or smoke) from airways and preventing infection. There are two types of coughs namely, Dry cough and chesty cough. A dry cough is tickly and doesn't produce any vicious or thick mucus, while a chesty cough (wet cough) means mucous or sputum is produced to help clear the airways.

Coldnac-Am Syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride, Cetirizine Dihydrochloride, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, and Menthol. Ambroxol works by thinning and loosening phlegm in the lungs, windpipe, and nose, making it easier to expel. Cetirizine relieves allergic symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, and itchy eyes.
