Clopac GM Cream is used to treat swelling, itching, and redness caused due to bacterial or fungal skin infections. It effectively treats bacterial and fungal skin infections. About Clopac GM Cream

Clopac GM Cream is used to treat swelling, itching, and redness caused by bacterial or fungal skin infections. Clopac GM Cream effectively treats bacterial and fungal skin infections. 

Clopac GM Cream is a combination of Clobetasol, Miconazole, and Neomycin. Clobetasol blocks prostaglandin production (chemical messengers) that cause symptoms of skin infections. Miconazole causes holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi. Neomycin prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Clopac GM Cream may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These side effects are mild and temporary. They do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Clopac GM Cream if you are allergic to any of its components. Before taking Clopac GM Cream, inform your doctor if you have any viral infections, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, adrenal gland problems, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin) or liver diseases. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dosage and timing for optimal results. 
  • Gently rinse the affected area with saline or water before applying Clopac GM Cream. Pat the skin and dry it with a clean cotton towel. Apply a generous amount of Clopac GM Cream and spread it evenly on the skin's affected areas to form a 1/8-inch thick layer with clean and dry hands. You can also apply Clopac GM Cream with a clean cotton wool or gauze swab. 
  • Wash your hands before and after using Clopac GM Cream on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.

What if I have taken an overdose of Clopac GM Cream

Do not apply Clopac GM Cream in large amounts or use it for a long time than recommended, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects.

  • Avoid using Clopac GM Cream if you are allergic to it or any other components present in it.
  • Clopac GM Cream is not recommended for use on larger areas of skin.
  • Do not use it for prolonged periods unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • It would be best if you did not cover the treated area with a bandage or plaster, especially the face, without checking with your doctor.
  • Do not use the medicine in and around your eyes. If the medicine accidentally gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or genitals, rinse with water thoroughly.

  • Do not use if there is an infection or sore present in the area to be treated.
