It is prescribed for treating severe infections or when oral therapy is ineffective. A bacterial infection is a condition in which bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can target any body part and multiply very quickly.

Claristop 500 mg Infusion 1's contains 'Clarithromycin', which works by killing the bacteria that cause the infection by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, it effectively treats bacterial infections.

Claristop 500 mg Infusion 1's will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. You may experience injection site phlebitis (redness, swelling, and pain), headache, nausea (feeling sick) or vomiting (being sick), stomach cramps or tummy pain, and diarrhoea. What if I have taken an overdose of Claristop 500 mg Infusion 1's

Claristop 500 mg Infusion 1's is administered by a health care professional in a hospital setting. Hence, the chances of overdose are less. Symptoms of overdose may include agitation, confusion, coma (decreased level of consciousness and lack of responsiveness), and Seizures, in a very severe overdose. Dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, and delirium are the common symptoms of overdose. Your doctor may take necessary measures if an overdose is suspected.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Claristop 500 mg Infusion 1's if you are allergic or hypersensitive to clarithromycin, any of the ingredients in Claristop 500 mg Infusion 1's, any other macrolide antibiotic, or ketolide (macrolide derivatives). Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
