About Cepzy-XL Injection

Cepzy-XL Injection is a combination medicine used to treat various bacterial infections such as respiratory tract (lungs) infection, urinary infection, blood infection, meningitis (inflammation of the brain and spinal cord), gonorrhoea (sexually transmitted disease), skin, abdominal, bone, and joint infections. Bacterial infections are caused by the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body.

Cepzy-XL Injection contains Cefoperazone and Sulbactam, which work together to treat bacterial infections. It helps control the spread of infection and lowers symptoms. This supports quicker healing and reduces the risk of complications. Together, Cepzy-XL Injection helps the body recover from bacterial infections effectively.

Your doctor administers Cepzy-XL Injection. You may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and rash. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Inform your doctor if you have any allergy (against any antibiotic), kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking Cepzy-XL Injection if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
