Cepotral-CV Dry Syrup Orange is an antibiotic medicine used in the treatment of bacterial infections such as pharyngitis/tonsillitis, otitis media, sinusitis, community-acquired pneumonia, gonorrhoea, anorectal infections in women, skin, and urinary tract infections. Cepotral-CV Dry Syrup Orange is a combination of two antibiotics, Cefpodoxime proxetil (cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefpodoxime proxetil works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thus, it kills the bacteria.
