About Celsus-200 DT Tablet

Celsus-200 DT Tablet belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections. Bacterial infections occur when harmful bacteria multiply inside or on the body. Celsus-200 DT Tablet does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Celsus-200 DT Tablet contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Celsus-200 DT Tablet works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Celsus-200 DT Tablet kills bacteria and helps treat bacterial infections.

In some cases, Celsus-200 DT Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), and abdominal pain. What if I have taken an overdose of Celsus-200 DT Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Celsus-200 DT Tablet may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhoea. Seek immediate medical attention if your child has any symptoms or think you have given too much to your child. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
