Uses of Cefzole Tablet may include:

• Gastrointestinal infections: Helps treat severe diarrhoea, dysentery, and stomach infections caused by bacteria or amoebas.
• Gynaecological infections: Clears mixed bacterial and parasitic pelvic or vaginal infections.
• Urinary tract infections (UTIs): Eliminates complex bacterial infections in the urinary system.
• Respiratory tract infections: Treats deep bacterial infections in the lungs, throat, or airways when complicated by other factors.

Cefzole Tablet combines an antibiotic, an antiprotozoal medicine, and a probiotic to help manage certain gastrointestinal infections involving susceptible bacteria or parasites.

• Helps Treat Certain Gastrointestinal Infections: Cefixime and ornidazole work against susceptible bacteria and protozoa, helping control the underlying infection.
• Helps Relieve Infection-Related Symptoms: As the infection improves, symptoms such as diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, and weakness may gradually subside.
• Supports Gut Health: Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic that may help maintain the balance of beneficial bacteria in the intestine during antibiotic treatment.
• Supports Recovery From Diarrhoea: By addressing the underlying infection while supporting the intestinal environment, the combination may help promote recovery and restore normal bowel function.

• Cefzole Tablet can be taken with or without food or as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safe and effective use.
• Swallow Cefzole Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break it.

• Stay Well-Hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids, including water and oral rehydration solutions, to replace fluids and electrolytes lost through diarrhoea.
• Choose Easily Digestible Foods: Eat light, easy-to-digest meals such as rice, bananas, toast, potatoes, or soups while your digestive system recovers.
• Avoid Foods That Worsen Symptoms: Limit spicy, greasy, fried, or heavily seasoned foods if they aggravate diarrhoea or stomach discomfort.
• Adjust Dairy and High-Fibre Foods if Needed: If diarrhoea is severe, temporarily reducing dairy products and very high-fibre foods may help if they worsen your symptoms. Reintroduce them gradually as you recover.
• Avoid Alcohol: Do not consume alcohol during treatment with ornidazole and for at least 72 hours after the final dose, unless your doctor advises otherwise, as alcohol may increase the risk of unpleasant reactions such as nausea and vomiting.

• Check the Packaging Before Use: Check the expiry date and do not take the medicine if the blister pack is torn, damaged, or improperly sealed.
• Report Nerve-Related Symptoms: Contact your doctor promptly if you develop persistent numbness, tingling, weakness, or other unusual nerve sensations while taking ornidazole.
• Be Careful When Driving: Avoid driving or operating machinery if you experience dizziness, drowsiness, or reduced alertness.
• Inform Your Healthcare Provider About Other Medicines: Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you take, particularly before receiving vaccines or starting another antibiotic or antimicrobial treatment.
• Complete the Prescribed Course: Take the medicine for the full duration prescribed by your doctor, even if you begin to feel better, unless your doctor tells you to stop.
