About Cadmet Trio Tablet

Cadmet Trio Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes so high that it leads to heart disease. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Cadmet Trio Tablet is a combination of Cilnidipine, telmisartan, and metoprolol. Cilnidipine acts on the calcium channels of the blood vessels and suppresses the contraction of blood vessels. Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, thereby relaxes the blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure. Metoprolol slows down the heart rate and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood. Together, Cadmet Trio Tablet helps treat hypertension.
