About Budenofil-9 Tablet

Budenofil-9 Tablet is used to treat inflammatory bowel diseases, such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Crohn's disease is a chronic disease caused by the inflammation of the lining of the digestive tract. Ulcerative colitis is a condition that causes inflammation of the large intestine and rectum.

Budenofil-9 Tablet contains Budesonide, which works by reducing the body's natural defence response. Thus, it reduces inflammation in the digestive tract. It may also decrease symptoms, such as pain and diarrhoea.

Your doctor will decide the duration of Budenofil-9 Tablet based on your medical condition. The common side effects of Budenofil-9 Tablet include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, bloating, fatigue, a stuffy nose, sneezing, a sore throat, and back or joint pain. Most of these side effects of Budenofil-9 Tablet do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. Treatment of Eosinophilic Esophagitis: Budenofil-9 Tablet treats eosinophilic esophagitis by reducing inflammation and alleviating symptoms, including difficulty swallowing.

Treatment of Primary Immunoglobulin A Nephropathy (IgAN): Budenofil-9 Tablet reduces protein in the urine in patients with IgAN, thereby decreasing kidney inflammation.

  • Take Budenofil-9 Tablet one hour before a meal or as advised by your doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Budenofil-9 Tablet

Take Budenofil-9 Tablet only in the dose prescribed by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended amount. An overdose may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, tiredness, dizziness, muscle or joint pain, changes in skin colour, or unusual cravings for salty foods. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these symptoms or any other severe side effects.
