About Bibonate Tablet
Bibonate Tablet is mainly used to treat acid indigestion, heartburn, sour stomach, and stomach upset. Bibonate Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions. It helps correct the acid-alkaline balance in the body.
Bibonate Tablet contains sodium bicarbonate, which helps neutralize the stomach's acidic pH. Thereby, Bibonate Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity.
Sometimes, you may experience common side effects such as dry mouth, urinating more than usual, and increased thirst. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Inform your doctor if you have any conditions like high blood pressure, kidney, liver or heart disease, or have recently had bleeding in the stomach. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Bibonate Tablet is an antacid that helps neutralize stomach acid during indigestion and heartburn. Bibonate Tablet may also be prescribed to make the blood or urine less acidic in certain conditions.
Bibonate Tablet has alkaline pH, which helps in neutralising the acidic pH in the stomach. Thereby, Bibonate Tablet helps to provide relief from acidity and heartburn.
Do not take Bibonate Tablet for longer than two weeks unless prescribed by the doctor. If there is no symptomatic improvement despite using Bibonate Tablet for 1-2 weeks, consult your doctor.
Bibonate Tablet can be taken with other medicines if prescribed by the doctor. However, you are advised to maintain a gap of 2 hours between Bibonate Tablet and other medicines.
Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Bibonate Tablet . Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking, drinking water regularly and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.
If you have kidney problems, please consult your doctor before taking Bibonate Tablet as it may possibly affect kidney function.
Bibonate Tablet may cause side effects such as increased thirst, stomach cramps, gas, dry mouth and urinating more than usual. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Store Bibonate Tablet at room temperature. Protect from light. Keep it out of reach of children.
Bibonate Tablet overdose may lead to hyperventilation (over breathing), twitching, very sensitive to light stimuli and high potassium levels in the blood which may cause dizziness or tiredness. Therefore, if you suspect you have taken overdose of Bibonate Tablet , please seek medical help immediately.
Pregnant women are recommended to consult their doctor before using Bibonate Tablet or any antacid, as it may worsen high blood pressure during pregnancy.
Bibonate Tablet should be used for as long as it is advised by your doctor. However, do not use Bibonate Tablet for more than 2 weeks without consulting a doctor. If acid problems persist or worsen after 2 weeks of self-treatment, seek medical help.
