Bi-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is used to treat mouth ulcers. It contains Cetrimide, Choline Salicylate, Lignocaine, and Tannic Acid. Cetrimide is a topical antiseptic. Choline Salicylate relieves pain by decreasing the formation of prostaglandins, which trigger pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Bi-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of local anti-infective and antiseptic preparations. It is used in the treatment of mouth ulcers. Mouth ulcers, also known as canker sores, are small, painful lesions that develop in the mouth or gums' base.

Bi-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of four drugs: Cetrimide, Choline Salicylate, Lignocaine and Tannic Acid. Cetrimide is an antiseptic to prevent bacterial and fungal growth around the ulcer. Choline Salicylate reduces pain and inflammation by blocking the production of prostaglandins, which cause these symptoms. Lignocaine numbs the area to provide temporary pain relief. Tannic Acid protects the ulcer and promotes healing by forming a coating. It may also have some antibacterial and antiviral effects as well. Together, it relieves pain, inflammation, and discomfort caused by mouth ulcers.

You are advised to use Bi-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel for as long as your doctor prescribes it, depending on your medical condition.
