Beninorm-NB 4/5 Tablet belongs to a class of medications called 'anti-hypertensives,' primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a lifelong (chronic) condition in which the blood pressure against the artery walls becomes very high. It can lead to complications such as heart attack, stroke, and long-term kidney disease.

Beninorm-NB 4/5 Tablet contains two medications: Benidipine (a calcium channel blocker) and Nebivolol (a beta-blocker). Benidipine works by blocking calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells of blood vessels, which helps widen the blood vessels and reduce pressure on them, making it easier for the heart to pump blood throughout the body. Nebivolol works by blocking beta-1 receptors in the heart, which slows the heart rate and relaxes blood vessels, thereby improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure. Together, Beninorm-NB 4/5 Tablet effectively treats high blood pressure.
