About Azacytin 100Mg Inj

Azacytin 100Mg Inj is a prescription anticancer medicine used to treat certain blood and bone marrow disorders, including myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia (CMML), and some types of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). It works by slowing the growth of abnormal bone marrow cells and helping restore the production of healthy blood cells, which can improve blood counts and reduce disease progression.

This medicine is administered as an injection by a trained healthcare professional, either under the skin (subcutaneously) or into a vein (intravenously). Treatment is usually given in repeated cycles consisting of several consecutive treatment days followed by a rest period. It is important to attend every scheduled appointment and complete each treatment cycle exactly as prescribed, even if you begin to feel better.

During treatment, your doctor will perform regular blood tests to monitor your red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and kidney and liver function.
