Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's is used to prevent heart attack and stroke in the future. It lowers the raised level of cholesterol and fats (triglycerides) in our bodies. It contains Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel, which lowers the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins or LDL) and triglycerides (TG) and increases the levels of good cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins or HDL). Also, it prevents a clot in the blood vessels. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as headaches, ankle swelling (oedema), slow heart rate, and nausea. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

About Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's

Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's is used in the prevention of heart attack, myocardial infarction (blockage of the blood to muscles of the heart), angina (chest pain), and stroke. A heart attack occurs when your coronary arteries (blood vessels supplying blood and oxygen to the heart) become blocked due to the buildup of fats (plaque), including cholesterol.

Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's is a combination of Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. Atorvastatin blocks the ability of the body to produce bad cholesterol and improves the ability of the body to make good cholesterol. Clopidogrel works by decreasing the production of clots, which is harmful to the body.

Not everyone who is taking Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's will get these side effects. You may sometimes experience headaches, ankle swelling (oedema), slow heart rate, dizziness, and nausea. Most of these side effects of Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's. Before starting the dose of Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's, let your doctor know if you are sensitive to atorvastatin or clopidogrel or have any active liver disease (liver enzyme abnormalities), active bleeding issues (like peptic ulcer, brain haemorrhage), or muscle problems (myopathy or rhabdomyolysis), or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding.

Uses of Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's

  • Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's helps lower the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins or LDL) and triglycerides (TG) and increases the levels of good cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins or HDL).

  • It reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke and heart-related chest pain (angina).

How Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's Works

Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's is composed of two medicines, namely: Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication which blocks the enzyme required to make cholesterol in the body. As a result, it lowers the bad cholesterol (low-density lipoproteins or LDL) and triglycerides (TG) and increases the levels of good cholesterol (high-density lipoproteins or HDL). Clopidogrel is a blood thinner (anticoagulant) that collectively prevents a clot in the blood vessels. Together Atoran CV 20 Tablet 10's reduces the increased levels of bad cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein and triglycerides) and prevents blood clots, thereby reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke and heart-related chest pain (angina).
