• Prevent kidney transplant rejection: Atgam 250 Injection 5 ml is used to prevent and treat acute rejection episodes in patients who have undergone a renal (kidney) transplant, especially when other treatments are not effective.
• Treat moderate to severe aplastic anemia: Atgam 250 Injection 5 ml is prescribed for patients with aplastic anemia who are not suitable candidates for a bone marrow transplant. It helps by suppressing the immune system’s attack on bone marrow cells.
• Immunosuppressive therapy: Atgam 250 Injection 5 ml reduces the number of active T-cells in the body. This makes it useful in conditions where immune suppression is required to protect transplanted organs or manage autoimmune condition.
