Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's belongs to a class of medications called nutritional supplements used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's is a combination of two drugs: Folic acid (a form of vitamin B9) and Levocarnitine (amino acid). Folic acid works by increasing red blood cell (RBC) production in the body which carries oxygen around the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body so that body's each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. Levocarnitine is an amino acid that works by allowing the body to utilize fats to produce energy. Carnitine is essential for energy production in the body as it enables cells to break down fats to produce energy. Thereby, it helps in treating carnitine deficiency.

Take Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, loss of appetite, bloating, or flatulence (gas). Most of these side effects of Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's if you have cancer. If you have pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12), fits, kidney disease, tumour or if you are receiving a stent in the heart or undergoing haemodialysis due to kidney failure, inform your doctor before taking Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's. You are recommended to maintain a time gap of a minimum of 2 hours between taking Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's and indigestion remedies such as antacids containing magnesium or aluminium and edible clay. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any sugars as Ascarnit-MF Tablet 1's contains lactose.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

Eat a healthy diet, especially green leafy vegetables, and do regular physical exercise.
Limit junk food items from outside and stick to freshly prepared home-cooked meals.
Eat cabbage, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, kale, Brussels sprouts, lentils, peas, and beans. Also include beef and yeast extracts, poultry, liver, shellfish and pork.
Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
Avoid consumption of alcohol.
