Aristo Emegon 2 mg Injection 2 ml is used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting caused by various medical conditions. The detailed uses of Aristo Emegon 2 mg Injection 2 ml are as follows:

• Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) : Aristo Emegon 2 mg Injection 2 ml is used in adults and children to prevent and manage nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.
• Post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV): Aristo Emegon 2 mg Injection 2 ml helps prevent and treat nausea and vomiting that may occur after surgery.
• Radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting: In adults receiving radiation treatment for cancer, Aristo Emegon 2 mg Injection 2 ml is used to reduce or prevent nausea and vomiting associated with therapy.

• Aristo Emegon 2 mg Injection 2 ml contains Ondansetron that blocks the action of serotonin, a chemical that stimulates the vomiting centre (chemoreceptor trigger zone – CTZ) located in the brain.
• Thus, it prevents nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy in adults and children, as well as after surgery.
