About Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet

Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes so high that it leads to heart disease. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet is a combination of Cilnidipine, telmisartan, and metoprolol. Cilnidipine acts on the calcium channels of the blood vessels and suppresses the contraction of blood vessels. Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, thereby relaxes the blood vessels and lowers the blood pressure. Metoprolol slows down the heart rate and makes it easier for the heart to pump blood. Together, Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet helps treat hypertension.

Not everyone who is taking Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet will get these side effects. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, decreased blood pressure and slow heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

You can take Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet with food or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, bite, crush, or break it. What if I have taken an overdose of Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet

Take Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet only as prescribed by the physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause serious side effects. If you suspect you have taken an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

  • Do not take Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents.

Orthostatic hypotension could be a side-effect of Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet . Orthostatic hypotension is a sudden lowering of blood pressure leading to dizziness on standing. If you experience this, do not try to stand up suddenly or start walking; instead, lie down and get up slowly only when you feel better. People taking Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet are advised to regularly monitor their blood pressure levels to avoid unpleasant events.

Arbitel-Trio 25 Tablet may cause swelling in the ankles or feet. If you experience oedema, raise your legs while sitting down. Talk to your doctor if the swelling persists or if you have any concerns.
