Anicain Plus Ear Drops 5 ml contains Beclomethasone (corticosteroid), Clotrimazole (antifungal), Lidocaine or lignocaine (local anaesthetic), and Gentamicin (antibiotic) used to treat ear infections. Anicain Plus Ear Drops 5 ml is used to treat bacterial and fungal infections of the ear. An ear infection occurs when bacteria or fungi affect the middle or outer ear, leading to pain and inflammation. Ear infections can be painful due to inflammation and fluid build-up.

Anicain Plus Ear Drops 5 ml is a combination of four drugs, namely: Beclomethasone (corticosteroid), Clotrimazole (antifungal), Lidocaine or lignocaine (local anaesthetic), and Gentamicin (antibiotic). Beclomethasone works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Thereby reducing the redness and swelling caused due to bacterial infections. Clotrimazole works by damaging the fungal cell membranes and killing fungi. Lidocaine decreases pain sensation by preventing pain signals from reaching the brain.
