Angitor H Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), chronic heart failure, and diabetic nephropathy. It is also used to decrease the risk of stroke in people who have high blood pressure and a heart condition called left ventricular hypertrophy (enlargement of the walls of the left side of the heart). It contains Losartan, which works by blocking the action of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently. In some cases, you may experience dizziness, tiredness, low blood pressure, weakness, anaemia (lack of blood), hyperkalaemia (high potassium levels in the blood), change in kidney function, orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure when standing up from lying or sitting position) or hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar).

About Angitor H Tablet

Angitor H Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and diabetic nephropathy. It helps reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. Hypertension is a medical condition in which the blood pressure is elevated persistently in the arteries without any known cause.

Angitor H Tablet contains Losartan, which works by blocking the action of certain natural substances that tighten the blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

In some cases, Angitor H Tablet may cause side effects like dizziness, tiredness, low blood pressure, weakness, anaemia, hyperkalemia (high potassium levels in the blood), and hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar). Most of the side effects do not require medical attention and usually resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

  • Diabetic Nephropathy: Angitor H Tablet slows kidney damage in people with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, reducing proteinuria and delaying disease progression.
  • Prevention of Heart Failure/Stroke: Angitor H Tablet lowers blood pressure to reduce the risk of strokes and heart failure by easing strain on blood vessels.

What if I have taken an overdose of Angitor H Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Angitor H Tablet as it may cause overdose. The symptoms of overdose include dizziness, fainting, fast or slow heartbeat. If you suspect you have taken overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

  • Do not take Angitor H Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components.
  • If you have diabetes, kidney or liver problems, please inform your doctor before taking Angitor H Tablet.
