About Amantide Capsule

Amantide Capsule is used to treat Parkinson's disease symptoms. It plays a vital role in treating symptoms such as difficulty moving, muscle stiffness, and tremors. Parkinson's disease is a nervous system disorder that causes movement, muscle control, balance, and other similar conditions.

Amantide Capsule contains amantadine, which works by increasing dopamine (a chemical) level in the brain, responsible for improving body movement coordination. Thus, it effectively helps in performing daily functions more efficiently and improves the quality of life.

In some cases, Amantide Capsule may cause side effects like dry mouth, constipation, balance disorder (loss of balance), blurred vision, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and peripheral oedema. What if I have taken an overdose of Amantide Capsule

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Amantide Capsule as it may cause overdose. The symptoms of overdose include difficulty breathing, decreased urination, irregular or fast heartbeat, confusion, problems with coordination, stiff or rigid arms/legs, hallucinations and fear/irritability/aggressive behaviour. If you suspect you have taken overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

  • Do not take Amantide Capsule if you are allergic to amantadine or any of its ingredients.
  • Inform your doctor about all other OTC medications, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you are taking or are planning to take.
