Alivpiro Injection is used to relieve symptoms like pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and musculoskeletal disorders. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering (cartilage).
Alivpiro Injection contains Piroxicam, which works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger in the body, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, which make another chemical, prostaglandins.
In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as injection site reactions, diarrhoea, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time.
Consult your doctor before taking Alivpiro Injection if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Alivpiro Injection is not recommended for children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Alivpiro Injection as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness.

You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption while taking Alivpiro Injection. Alcohol intake, along with Alivpiro Injection, may cause increased dizziness. It may also increase the risk of stomach/intestine ulcers and bleeding.

Avoid taking Alivpiro Injection if you are pregnant unless prescribed by the doctor. Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns regarding this; your doctor will prescribe Alivpiro Injection only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Do not take Alivpiro Injection in the last 20 weeks of pregnancy as it may cause serious kidney and heart problems in the unborn baby and complications with the pregnancy.

Alivpiro Injection belongs to the group of medications known as NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) used to relieve symptoms like pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Alivpiro Injection works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers (prostaglandin), thereby reducing pain, stiffness, swelling, and inflammation.
Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Alivpiro Injection. Drink lots of fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.
Do not use Alivpiro Injection immediately before or after bypass surgery. Alivpiro Injection may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. Therefore, inform your doctor if you have heart problems.
Alivpiro Injection may be used to treat musculoskeletal pain. Musculoskeletal pain refers to the pain in the bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendon.
